Aux âmes etc

Genre Cabaret — A meeting place where words are at play; words motivated by meaning and poetry, groove and swing; words that say and sing in all styles : pop-song, spoken word, rap, literature, poetry... ! Every speaker, singer, storyteller, spoonerist or musician proposes their own writings and challenges. Confrontation, encounter, desire to mix or not! It' s a common stage for sharing a revisited cabaret.

Have already participated in previous editions : Christine Aventin, Michel Debrulle, Clément Dechambre, Nicolas Dechêne, Thierry Devillers, Benoist Eil, Anne Gennen, Olivier Kelchtermans, Adrien Lambinet, François Laurent, Véronique Laurent, Lara Persain, Camille Pier, Adrien Sezuba Rukira.

"An atypical project, Aux âmes etc... takes the form of an intergenerational hostel where artists from different backgrounds mix genres (hip hop, urban poetry, pop, reading...) in order to extract the essential essence of words: the groove. Said, read, sung, shouted in French or in English, words escape in the same poetic momentum : essential impulse to some songs with multiple themes (sex, religion, the state of the world and all its complications). Hip-Pop-Song-Citadine Poetry is a slightly nebulous, but totally adventurous album : the unlikely meeting place of artists as far apart (on paper) as Ami Terrien, Tout est Joli/All is Pretty or Michel Debrulle. Aux âmes etc... makes a lasting statement : never underestimate the power of words. "
